Contact Quoture

This policy covers the Quoture iPhone app, its Home Screen widgets, and this website. For privacy questions, contact: quoturesupport@gmail.com

Your reading stays on your device

Quoture works with a bundled collection. Searches and reading filters are processed on your device. Favorites, lists, guided-path progress, interests, appearance, and reminder settings are stored locally. The previous opening quotations are remembered locally to vary your next visit. Quoture has no account system and does not send this information to developer servers.

No ads or tracking

Quoture includes no advertising, analytics, tracking SDKs, or third-party AI service connections. Your searches and saved readings are not sent to an AI service. Editorial explanations and illustrations are already included in the app.

Editorial content and AI

The collection, editorial explanations, and illustrations are prepared before release. Some explanations and artwork were created with AI assistance. Reading or searching in Quoture does not send your activity to an AI provider.

Optional reminders

Daily reminders are scheduled on your device only after you choose to enable them and allow notifications. You can turn them off in Quoture Settings or change notification permission in iOS Settings. Reading works without notification permission. A reminder may show quotation text on your Lock Screen, depending on your iOS notification preview settings.

Home Screen widgets

If you add a Quoture Home Screen widget, it shows bundled readings and illustrations based on your saved interests. Your theme, interests, and a small reading selection are shared locally between Quoture and its widget extension in an App Group container. Widget updates work offline and do not send information to developer servers. iOS controls when widgets refresh. Tapping a widget opens its reading in Quoture.

External sources

Source and portrait links open websites outside Quoture when you choose to follow them. Those websites receive the information normally sent by your browser and follow their own privacy policies. Quoture does not send your favorites, lists, interests, or search history with these links.

Retention and removal

Your library stays on your device until you remove it. Deleting the app removes its local data; offloading the app may retain it. Apple device backups may include app data if you have enabled backups. Backup retention and removal are controlled through your Apple settings. Quoture does not keep a developer-server copy of your library.

Contacting support

If you choose to email support, your email provider sends the message and any information you include. Include only information you want to share. Support correspondence is used to respond to your request and may be kept while resolving it. You can ask for deletion of correspondence through the same support contact. Quoture does not attach your library automatically.

This website and its host

This website is hosted on Cloudflare. Serving and securing a website involves processing normal connection information, such as an IP address, browser information, and requested page. Cloudflare processes normal connection and security information to deliver and protect the site. We do not embed third-party fonts, social media feeds, advertising, or a signup form.

The app’s local-only reading library is separate from website hosting. Visiting this website does not give us access to your saved readings.

Your choices

You can use the app without an account or notifications. Manage notifications and backups in Apple settings. Remove saved content in the app or delete the app to remove its local data. For personal information you choose to send in support correspondence, you can request access, correction, or deletion using the support contact. Rights and exceptions may depend on applicable law.

Changes

We will update this page and its date when our privacy practices change. Any material change that needs permission will be handled before that use begins.

Website analytics

This website loads Google Analytics 4 automatically to understand visits, page views, and general engagement. It does not show a permission prompt. Analytics uses first-party cookies to distinguish browsers and sessions. Google receives technical information such as browser and device information and processes your IP address to provide the service. Google states that GA4 does not log or store individual IP addresses; this does not make all analytics data anonymous.

We do not send your name, email address, saved readings, search terms, full URL query strings, or precise location. Do not put private information into a page URL. Advertising storage, Google signals, and advertising personalization are disabled in our configuration.

You can turn website analytics off for this browser below. We remember your choice locally and continue to respect a previous decline or the Global Privacy Control signal. Turning analytics off stops future measurement and removes the analytics cookies we can access. It does not erase measurements already received by Google.

Website analytics requires JavaScript. Your browser's privacy settings may also block it.

Google may process data outside your country. Its privacy policy and Analytics data safeguards describe its practices. You can also use Google's browser opt-out tools.

Website analytics is separate from the Quoture iPhone app. The app remains offline and contains no analytics SDK. This site does not receive your app reading activity.
